Tyler Returning to American Idol

There's a report that Steven Tyler will be back for a second season as a judge on American Idol along with the show's last remaining original judge, Randy Jackson. Jennifer Lopez recently said she was unsure if she will be back.

Tyler's joining the show last year did not sit well at first with Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, but the two have since kissed and made up. Perry is getting ready to move north for the summer from his home in Florida to the one he has outside Boston. Aerosmith will gather in their Boston studio on Tuesday to once again start work on their first studio album of original material since 2001's Just Push Play. --Sal Cirrincione
