Journey: Who's Crying Now

Lately it seems Journey is making more headlines off stage than on. First there was guitarist Neal Schon dating State Dinner crasher Michaele Salahi, followed by a nude photo of him posted on the 'Net. And now it's drummer Deen Castronovo's turn.

Castronovo was arrested last weekend in Keizer, Oregon after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. He's been charged with coercion, assault, criminal mischief, interfering with making a report and harassment. TMZ reports that there may be an additional charge because he later wrestled the phone away from his girlfriend as she tried to call her father. Castronovo's bail was set at $52,000, but his spokesperson says, "It was a misunderstanding that should not have been escalated to such a level in the first place."

The 46-year-old Castronovo took over for Steve Smith in Journey in 1998. --Sal Cirrincione
